Technical sheet · OcraMars

Technical sheet · OcraMarsOcraMars is Mars: the name comes from the planet, and the mark draws it with octagons and brackets. Here the name and the mark are explained, with the measures to reproduce them. Two words, one planet.

Mars: The planet Mars: a close world, within reach, but still unexplored. It is the theme of the whole family: OcraMars is the planet and the apps live inside it, each named after a celestial body.

Ocra: The colour of the dust of Mars. In the logo the word is in a warm grey, because red is kept for the planet.

s: The last s is the one of Mars and also recalls the s of software. It is red, like the planet in the mark: it closes the name and ties it to the symbol.

A planet between brackets, two moons.

Square brackets: They stand for an array: the technical part of the logo. There are two, mirrored, and they hold everything else: OcraMars and the apps that live inside it.

Planet: Mars is a regular octagon, 26 units wide on a 64-unit grid, in the centre between the brackets: it is OcraMars, a world within reach, still to be explored, that holds the apps.

Two moons: Phobos and Deimos, small octagons on opposite sides. They always have the same colour as the planet.

45° corners: Every corner is cut at 45°: in the planet, in the moons, in the brackets and in the letters of Oxanium.
